Well, it’s that time of the year when you seem to reflect on the year that just went by. It has been one heck of a year for us. We are at a place with our photography we didn’t think we be quite yet. If you are not up to speed, we left our ‘day job’ back towards the end of July. This move was more of a necessity than anything else. We were staying very busy shooting more sessions than ever and didn’t see things slowing down anytime soon. For our business to continue to grow to the next level we decided it was time to jump in all the way, and devote even more time to our passion. It was a good move and we haven’t even thought about looking back.
We have shot a record number of seniors this year. We can’t tell you how much we enjoy shooting the high school kids! They keep us young, and make us laugh every time. To those we’ve shot in the past – we hope you are enjoying your images as much as we enjoyed making them. We hope to meet a lot more of our local seniors in the years to come!
We’ve also shot more weddings this year than ever. We are touched that those families trust us enough to be part of such a special day. We hope that we have given you a wedding album and wedding portraits you can be proud of and cherish for years to come.
For the first time we have entered some pretty prestigious print competitions this past year. We have come away with some pretty nice awards. But then, we say it a lot, we are blessed with great, good looking clients. We did very well in the high school senior categories, which only stands to reason as that is, hands down, our favor subject to shoot.
We have some great things already in the works for the future. We continue to educate ourselves so we can continue to deliver some cutting edge photography to our clients. We have some new sets, backgrounds and props to keep our photography fresh and new.
Our biggest news is that hopefully within the next few months, we’ll be shooting in a brand new BIGGER studio! Plans are in the works to add a seperate studio to our home. The building will give us almost 1800 square feet of studio space. A far cry from the existing studio.
And of course, none of this would be possible without our supportive community and clients. Those that have come to us for their family portraits, senior portraits, weddings, child portraits and anything else that could be photographed – you know who you are – we thank you more than you could imagine. This dream wouldn’t be possible without you. To the coaches of the Bear River High sports programs that have brought us in year after year to shoot your team and individual images – we appreciate you so much and look forward to the years ahead.
So again, to our past clients – a huge thank you. We hope you’ll continue to call for any future photography needs. And, we look forward to the future and meeting and working with new clients.
