Wheat and Beet Days – Let’s Celebrate!

Hey gang! We are set to be in the Wheat and Beet Days Parade tomorrow morning! Rikki, Bethanie, Devanne, Devin and Morgan will be helping us. We are passing out coupons just for parade spectators. Thank you to Allen Williams of Murdock Chevrolet for loaning us a truck. We will be in a slate blue truck with banners on it.  See you there! Yell extra loud, we have candy!! The good stuff even – rootbeer barrels and butterscotch disks!

I love this weekend, this is the epitome of small town America. I love living here!

Some of the events you won’t want to miss today and tomorrow:

Childrens bike parade 5:00 pm friday – meet at the tabernacle

Parade – Saturday @ 10:00 am -from the high school to the Garland City Park.

Booths and fun all day at the Garland City Park!

Fireman’s water fight – Saturday – 3:00 pm at the tabernacle ball field. Come and prepare to get wet! Steve gets to be in on this this year. You’ve been warned.

Fireworks Saturday Night at Garland City Park.

Our studio is a few blocks west of the park. We will be out and about, but if you see us, swing by and say hi!

Bethanie’s Senior Portraits – Bear River High School – Garland, Utah

Bethanie came in for her turn at senior pictures. She did an indoor/outdoor session with us, Chloe included!  It was a total pleasure getting to know Bethanie and her mom, Carla. We had a great session and came away with some astounding images. We also had Bethanie come back in for a later session on our time for a project we were working on. (See the perks of being our clients? We remember you for stuff like this! )

Amber’s Senior Pictures – Brigham City, Utah

Our favorite season is here, senior season! It’s nice to get back to doing that which we love the most! Amber is from Box Elder High School. We got to know her last year when she came in all broken, so we nicknamed her “Crash”. But she’s not broken anymore, she’s back to her bendy self!

Amber did our outdoor session and though we fought with the wind a little this day, man did she pull out some stellar images! We can’t wait to show them to her.

Sooo, Amber and Connie, we will talk to you sometime this week. A little birdie told me that Amber may be going to Alaska? Not sure if that’s still the case, but if you are, we will catch up with you soon! Thanks again. It was so nice to have you here.

Make sure you check back often. I just posted a new plea in the  Help Wanted section. We like to reward friends and clients to follow us faithfully. We have a few things in the works and we’ll need models.A specific request has been put in our Help Wanted section, so go see if you fit the criteria. We need to get working on this project ASAP.

Also, a reminder to watch our calendar. July specials will be the last discounted sale for seniors then we will be full steam ahead on seniors in August! Those wanting yearbook pictures will want to call ASAP as we get packed in August and September. We have shot some seriously cute seniors here this past week, I can’t wait to share the images!

Scott Family

So other than them having a missionary leave and their house being a little too close to a wild fire, the Scott’s have a pretty quiet life. They came in last night to view images and was telling Steve about their eventful week. Scary!!

We’ve had daughter Jill in here before and I recognized John from the senior ball we shot one year. So it was great to meet the whole family. The Scott’s are probably the nicest people around!  It’s nice to get to know people that you may never have met otherwise. Thank you so much for visiting us before your missionary went away. Keep smiling!

Shauni’s Portraits – Utah

Shauni was in for some portraits. Her family bought her a gift certificate and presented it to her for her birthday. We are glad this is what she wanted! We turned out some killer stuff. Shauni is a sophomore cheerleader at Bear River High School. She has graced our website with her cute face before during family pictures. Hopefully she will be a familar fave on here through the next few years!

…sometimes I get a kick out of the smallest things. I cannot stop grinning, dare I say ‘giggling’ even,  when I see this picture! LOL  I will be using this as a highlight image on our website somewhere, that’s for sure. Every kid here was cute but this expression and pose won me over! New this week, we will be offering family sessions with a bonus.  Christmas isn’t so far away. (I know, eeek, don’t say that! But it’s true!) For every family that calls and books with us on the specified days on our calendar,  we will gift you with 20 Christmas photo-cards with your favorite family portrait from the session! That’s close to $100 retail value! But, the rules are – you have to call on the specified days, you have to have your family session booked by July 31st 2009, and you have to pay the session fee to reserve the day. (Any broken or rescheduled appointments will void the card bonus. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Offer only valid for family sessions.) Good idea, yes?!
