Shanna has been a great model for us from Box Elder High School. We have used her for a couple of projects, so of course when it came time to do her senior pictures, she was totally comfortable in front of the camera and in front of us! Thanks for being such a great model and sweet person! Good luck in your future adventures!
Jaxx was in before the snow flew for senior portraits. I guess being related to us grants him the curse of being put on the back burner on blog posting!

We’ve been doing this whole photography gig for awhile now, but this session was the first time we had a surprise marriage proposal. Congrats to the Higley family. We are excited you chose to pop the question here! We are even happier we got pictures of it!

We like to get you in early for camera time so we can show you off on our website, blog, and facebook. (No this doesn’t mean you have to get your senior pictures taken this early. We take your official senior portraits later in the year.)

When you fill out the model form, please do it with the understanding that you have talked to your parents about this and we will be contacting you for further information. We do not turn anyone away. The more you help us, the more we give to you. We often need models for test shoots, this is why we love to gather our pool of seniors early enough to use them for upcoming projects. We have a few models who can say they’ve been published in magazines, trade show posters, displays, online commercials, ads, etc! We always need models but we don’t work for free. We pick from our paying clients.

Our first SHP crew came in for their beginning mini shoot. Once a year we network with our friends from the BATC. A big thank you to these girls and their talents. I have a list of them here, (please let me know if someone didn’t leave their name.)

We also networked with local Paparazzi Jewelry representative, Kellie Creager to bring you some fun and awesome images of our Class of 2014 girls. Find her on Facebook. I’m not much into parties like this but I love love love the Paprazzi ones… so that should convince you right there! Trust me, call her and get your collection started!
Back to our 2014 incoming models. There is plenty of time to have normal shots, we like to get a little creative and just play, usually during the last weekend in January since we are all freezer burnt and have a good case of cabin fever. It’s fun to just see what we can come up with. We only do this once a year as a “freebie” for our models because it takes quite the production to bring it together with a team of girls, models and any other local friends who participate. If you are wanting to be a class of 2014 model and are sad you missed the “fun night” there are ways that we can help you get a fun mini session like this, but there is a small cost involved and travel time to our friends at the BATC if you want the themed look. Other than that, we are still booking regular mini sessions with our models. Those are just as fun too so please fill out an application today if you are still wanting to get your senior portraits done with us as well as add some extra camera time as a model. Either way we have early savings for all! Call us if you have any questions on that, we answer questions with no pressure. If you just want the information, we are happy to explain it on the phone. Our Sweethearts Valentine Sessions are going to be extended due to this weather. It’s put people back a couple of days, including us I guess! “grin” We are going to book more sessions throughout the next couple of weeks. If you are getting married or engaged in the year 2013, you may be interested to read this. We are giving 3 couples the chance to get an exclusive wedding package and 5 couples the chance to get an exclusive engagement package. We’ve come up with a compromise to meet a few people half way who want nice images but don’t have a big budget. It’s been a rough couple of years for most around here. We understand that. We are pretty picky about our wedding and engagement packages, maybe to a fault! It’s a big deal for you, so it’s a big deal for us. We are offering a bare bones package to 3 couples but we are also going to encourage those 3 couples to come back to us within the year and follow through with a wedding album. We feel it’s so important to get your images in print form. Digital can turn obsolete and get lost or deleted.
Now having said that, here is the deal. $500 is all inclusive. It will include 3 hours at 1 location. This can be the wedding day, or Groomals. (Groomals: The popular new trend of taking your images in your gown and tux before the wedding day to get them out of the way. We love these!)
Those are the basics, if this is something you are interested in, you will need to call and discuss the few other details and get your day booked. We will only be doing 3 of these this year. Our regular pricing applies after they are sold.
Engagements for 2013. Limited to 5 couples and then regular rates apply
$150 for 1 hour and 10 retouched digital images. Optional guest book add-on. We encourage you to get these into prints as well.
