We have only just begun! Thanks for reading our blog!

Bear River High School is where Dylan resides for a little longer. You have to love the unpredictable weather that accompanies spring. We lucked out on this day, the skies didn’t open up and for Dylan he was a trooper because it was a little cold to be running around without a coat or hoodie on. Trust me, this was one outdoor senior session that I was totally bundled up for, but I may be considered a wimp at times.  I admit that.  It probably wasn’t so bad in reality, and we had the whole valley to ourselves, it was a great senior session! Let’s do it again!

We captured some great senior images for Dylan, just like we did for his older brother Jordan a few years ago when he was a senior.

Thanks for connecting with us! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

We are happy to have Hayley on board as one of our Steve Harrington Photography models for the Class of 2012. She is on the drill team at Box Elder High School. We are looking forward to working with her more, I have no doubt we will make some beautiful images as a team. In face, we already have!

We had a fun new networking project with some client of ours-  Melanie Myers and Mickie Petersen run a small business together called Two Sisters Miche Bags. Make sure you check out their Facebook page. If you love purses, you’ll love these bags!

So here is Hayley. You will definitely be seeing more images of her, and our other models, through the coming weeks.

We are still accepting applications for those who want to be a model for us, or if you just want an early bonus on your senior portraits, find one of our models! They have exclusive cards to give out that will get you in here free! If you know you want your senior portraits taken from us for Class of 2012, go ahead and find out more from them.

Thanks for reading our blog and welcome abroad Hayley! – Shelley

Devanne is another terrific addition to our senior model program for the class of 2012. Bear River High School is her location. We’ve photographed her for quite some time. We’ve done a sweet 16 party for her and even had her family bring her to Idaho for one of our workshop moments as our model. So it’s fair to say she’s comfortable with us in front of the camera, and that’s what makes her images amazing!

Her mom is our favorite hairdresser from Possibilities in Tremonton. She’s cur out hair for years as well as had a BBQ with us a time or two. My dog tried to bite Drake’s face off once, but we don’t want to talk about that. :) We are all still friends and that’s what matters!

Devanne’s senior pictures are going to rock this year! We will photograph her in our Garland studio as well as to some outdoor location shoots.

Mom might freak out because she’s all grown up. But I love this shot, it’s a fashion thing and we love it! We are excited to bring her and our other models in for various shoots through the year.

Thanks for reading our blog! – Shelley H

Hadlee is a familiar face and we are happy to see it’s her turn to be a senior model for us! She works great in front of the camera. We will be taking her Class of 2012 senior pictures later in the year, but for now we had her in for a mini-session to get her (and us!) some images for Facebook and our photography blog.

You’ll bee seeing Hadlee a bunch here at Steve Harrington Photography. If you know Hadlee and have any questions for her about being a model, she can give you the information about our studio. She’s working towards joining us in June as a model for our 4th annual photography workshop.

Thanks Hadlee! We have some great stuff here! We are spoiled with super cute models!

-Shelley Harrington

Here is the updated information you need as far as being an aspiring Steve Harrington Photography model for the class of 2012  -OR-  if you are simply looking for the best pricing for your 2012 senior portraits, read below. All model and lock in rates will expire on June 1st, 2011. Please read carefully then call with questions, we hopefully have everything spelled out right here.

If you are interested in early senior savings for your senior portraits:

Right now we are offering a sale like nothing we have done before, so we urge you to take advantage of it!  Talk to your parents, they will appreciate the savings. Trust us. If it is your plan to have your senior portraits taken by us, you can lock in an early savings price by buying -in with a $50 deposit. This will give you a free session fee and the $50 will directly be applied to your order. This does not mean you have to have your senior portraits taken right now. This will lock in your price and we can have your official senior portrait session later in the summer.  You do not have to worry about paying anything else until it’s time for your senior portraits! You may want to book in time to get a unique yearbook shot if your school allows it. Again, this is an exclusive offer that will expire on June 1, 2011. After that time, we will go back to our regular session fees and pricing.

You will need to have your session booked no later than the early Fall of 2011. This is part of the “free session” deal we have set up for you. Plus if you are paying attention to the weather, you will see that wanting to wait for your senior portraits in the spring of your senior year is a large gamble. We have been doing this long enough to know we do not see steady weather until later in May and at that point, it’s crunch time if you want to hire a quality photographer.  This free session offer will only last until June 1st. You can either talk to one of our models listed below if they are your friend and you’d like to give them the referral credit, or you can contact us directly about it at 435-453-1952. Call us or text us, there is no pressure here, we are happy to answer questions. We do have minimum orders set in place, but we have something that should fit everyone that is interested in getting senior portraits through us. We love what we do, we are good at it and we’d love to have you as a client!

If you are interested in being a model:

Time is running out, but we always have room for more! So yes, we are still looking for 2012 senior models, specifically in neighboring schools like Box Elder High in Brigham, Ogden, Logan, Malad and other areas. Being a senior model is a fun experience and you will have more images than you will know what to do with. We have a fun, fresh program that will get you perks, or if you just want to get in early for some spring bonuses, we’ve got something for everyone. This is not a free modeling experience, we do require minimum orders from our models. This does not mean you have to  have your senior portraits taken this early, we will just have mini-sessions until you are ready for your senior portraits in your senior year. We are constantly looking for models for various projects, our senior models get first dibs when something comes our way. One of the biggest perks we have is our annual Utah workshop in June where you are the model!  We are taking our hardest working senior models with us. We start to prepare for this in the early spring, this is one of the reasons we start looking for 2012 seniors early. We also like to use the incoming seniors on our marketing materials. Come early and this will be you! Promise!

You can be a model, help a friend be a model, or join in with your friends to work towards sharing our Utah Senior Workshop experience together! Our lowest possible pricing is right now, we will be moving the prices up as the year progresses. Don’t let the early deadlines scare you, if you plan to get your senior portraits taken with us during your senior year anyway, this is a program for you! Right now, $50 will get you started with a mini session, and every cent goes back into your senior portraits!!

Click on our Model Application to start the process if you’d like to be a model! We are going to have a great year! OR as stated above, if you are only interested in early savings – contact us or one of our models if you’d like to lock in your price early. This will save you up to $100. Again, talk to your parents, they are welcome to call with questions. No pressure.

We are back from San Diego!

January 8, 2010

We spent a week learning and doing some teaching with our photographer friends. Now it’s time to get back to work! We are fired up and excited about a lot of new ideas.  I will post some images soon, but for now we have a wedding to prepar for tomorrow, so we will catch up with you soon! Here is a favorite image I took of Steve with his buddies on the San Diego beach! We stayed at the Del in Coronado. Just amazing!

We can officially announce that we’ve been asked to speak  at WPPI in Vegas – 2010! This is a huge honor for us as many of our mentors have spoken there. Now I guess it’s our turn!!! WOO HOO! Steve will bespeaking on high school seniors!

We’d like to thank all the little people.. HAHA! That was a total joke, of course. We are flattered, honored, humbled and grateful. This is a big deal for us and marks a huge milestone in our careers as a professional photography business. ( It’s not as easy as one may think! ) Big kudos go out to Steve for taking us there, because heaven knows I wouldn’t be doing anything like this on my own. He’s the man! Northern Utah is incredibly fortunate to have his talents in their backyard!

Thanks and stay tuned for more images! – Shelley

P/S – Oh YES!! I forgot to mention. We will be needing to take a model with us for our demonstration. We will be picking a class of 2010 senior who has their senior portraits taken by us. (Book now!) We are still tentatively putting this together but, any Senior that has their images taken with us will qualify. You have to be available to miss a bit of school in March, so keep that in mind! Good luck!

Robyn from Brigham City came up to pay us a visit and get her senior portraits done. She brought her 2 cute babies with her as well so they could share the spotlight with her. We did an indoor/outdoor session and fought the cold a little, but turned out some great stuff! This girl was born to be a model!

Here are a couple of my favorites, the ones with her best friends! You can see more on our facebook business page (we are on a quest for fans!) and/or our myspace page.

Now that the weather is breaking and we are seeing warmer days, we are starting to see the rest of our 2009 clients booking. So it’s not too late, but it will be as soon as we fill up! Please call or text us today to reserve your spot before graduation! It’s just around the corner! We are looking forward to sharing our spring senior images with you! Keep checking back!

Thank you to Robyn! You make our job easy. You are beautiful! Happy spring!

Ethan – Senior

November 16, 2008

Ethan is a senior at Bear River High School. We did an outdoor session with him recently. It was nice to meet him, we also did his older sister’s senior portraits a couple of years ago. Great session and  perfect weather! Thank you, Ethan and mom! Tell Heather ‘hi’ from us.

Here are two samples from his session:
