Last week we had the opportunity to photograph a team of extra cute girls, the Ogden High School Cheerleaders. We had a great time and the new addition to the school is looking pretty amazing! Thanks to Tory for giving us a call to bring our gear over and spend the morning/afternoon in Ogden. It was a great day and there are some killer images to come!

August 22, 2010Blake’s Missionary Portraits
May 7, 2009I know it wasn’t that long ago that Blake was here at our place, getting his senior portraits taken. Time does fly! Now he’s heading out on his mission. I believe Steve told me he was headed to Brazil soon. (I’ll come back and fix that if I’m wrong!)
We were happy to get a call from his mom for his missionary portraits. We wish you safe travels, Blake! Keep smiling and thank you!

Felicity’s Senior Portraits
March 26, 2009If you were to ask Steve who the most memorable person is throughout the past 3 years, in regards to sports pictures and team shots, I have no doubt he would respond without hesitation: Miss Felicity Jones of Bear River High School. Since the first time we met her, probably her Freshman year, she has given Steve a hard time. I love her for that. <evil grin>
So anyway, heere are a couple of my favorites from the wild child. She’s awesome and we had a great time with her. We’ll miss seeing her around the school after this year, but she’s got bigger and better things to do with her life. Live big, Felicity! Congratulations and good luck at CSI! We may just bump into you there once or twice!

Portraits for Brandi
January 30, 2009Brandi came to us from Hill AFB. (How cool is that?!) Brandi and her husband are full time Air Force and it sounds like they haven’t seen each other much lately with their busy careers, so she wanted to get some portraits taken for her main man. She’s a dog handler in the AF. (How cool is that?!) Steve is a former Air Force man, so he was happy to talk about old times.
Thank you, Brandi, for coming to see us. I missed seeing you that day of your shoot but I look forward to meeting you when you come in to see your previews.

2 of my favorites:

Dane’s Senior Portraits
December 3, 2008Dane came in for his senior portraits while we are still having these great ‘warmish’ days. Dane is a senior at Bear River High School here in northern Utah. He’s a guy after Steve’s own heart as he pulled up with a KTM in the back of his truck! Steve’s been wanting this bike for awhile now. Anyway, we did an outdoor location complete with riding gear. Obviously Dane is very into riding and racing his bike. Then we did some indoor studio images as well. Fun times!
Thanks Dane for hanging out with us, we will be calling you soon! We’re almost ready for you! Here are 2 pictures from the day. Needless to say the bike ones are turning out incredible!

Back from Nashville
November 7, 2008We just returned home today after a week in Nashville for a photography seminar we spoke at. We took Jaycee with us as a model. Devin also filled in with some modeling gigs while we were there. I still have to pull Devin’s images out of our luggage, but here are some images of Jaycee’s experience in the Nashville area. We held 2 classes, one on Sunday and one on Thursday. We also spoke during their seminar on Wednesday. Jaycee was a wonderful model and we just can’t thank her enough for helping us shine in front of our peers. I will post these for now, then go catch up on some sleep and have some more to share within the next few days.
Can I just say that the weather in Nashville this time of year is amazing? And southern gentlemen are so nice! I’ve never had the door opened for me so much in my life! LOL This was such a great experience and hopefully Jaycee had an experience of a lifetime.
Jaycee – you rock!
